# 4.1 Technical Overview

A Gold Mining is a Web3 project built on the **Solana** blockchain, selected for its scalability, low fees, and millisecond transaction confirmation times.

An ecosystem consists of:

* **Token $GMC**: deflationary and multifunctional asset used for staking, rewards, governance, and marketplace access.
* **Stablecoin $GOLD**: backed 1:1 by physical gold, linked to the actual production of mining operations.
* **Solana Smart Contracts (SPL)**: manage staking, burns, reward distribution, and ranking system logic.
* **Dashboard Web**: A decentralized platform for staking, ranking, rewards, and swapping.
* **Marketplace**: sale of physical gold, tokenized jewelry, and NFTs with exclusive benefits for holders.

The entire operation is integrated via APIs, with production traceability through blockchain from the washing plant to the distribution of tokens.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://gold-mining.gitbook.io/whitepaper/4.-solution-architecture/4.1-technical-overview.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
